Welcome to my workbench.
As an artisan, my hands know the story of every piece I create. But the storydoesn’t end when a bag or wallet leaves our studio – it simply enters a new chapterwith you.
Today, I want to invite you to a practice I am passionate about – the alchemy ofleather care.
Alchemy is a process that transforms something in a mysterious or impressive way.
Leather is a natural, breathable material. Just as we must ground ourselves andnourish our bodies for healthy, whole living, our leather goods require that sameintentional care to maintain their life force. Over time, the elements can dry out thenatural fibers, but with a simple, mindful routine, we can restore its flexibility,strength, and vibrancy.
In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be sharing my personal apothecary secrets foridentifying, storing, cleaning, conditioning, and protecting your cherished pieces.
Our leather goods need to be cleaned, moisturized, and cared for, just as we do our own skin.
