Goddess of the Moon Leatherworks was born 11 years ago out of a simple need and a spark of creativity. When I started a new job in architecture, I wanted a bag that was both functional and beautiful—something uniquely mine. With a suede coat from Goodwill, some basic tools, and a lot of determination, I crafted my first crossbody bag. That experience ignited a passion for leatherwork that has evolved into a brand dedicated to individuality,
artistry, and purpose.
Each handbag I create tells a story, starting with its name—every bag is named after a strong, inspiring woman who has shaped my life. My love for bold colors and the meditative process of hand stitching and dyeing is infused into every design. I work with leather by embracing its natural imperfections, ensuring minimal material is wasted and every flaw becomes a feature. Using water-based dyes, sealers, and adhesives, I am committed to crafting products that are as sustainable as they are beautiful. With a lifetime warranty on all my bags, I stand by the quality and longevity of my work, believing that true luxury is both timeless and ethical.

Our work environment caters to the sensory and special needs of each and every employee. We will improve the global workforce by hiring people with sensitivities and developmental disabilities first. We will inspire other businesses to hire employees that look like ours because our employees make us badass. Our employees will always be given the encouragement, the tools, and the space to help them feel empowered to follow their dreams, even if that means leaving us.
